Institutional Vision · IT Strategy Contribution · Editorial & Print Production
Project Summary
This project was an institutional vision-document and publication-production assignment for Astan Quds Razavi, developed under the title:
Digital Memory of Astan Quds Razavi — Virtual Museum
The final deliverable was a 223-page strategic document, produced in 2017 (1396) and printed in two official copies: one for the internal organizational unit and one for the central organization.
My role combined technology contribution and end-to-end publication production.
On the content side, I contributed to the IT / future-development section of the document by helping present new implementation ideas and demonstrable examples for the virtual museum roadmap.
On the production side, I was fully responsible for the typing, layout, cover design, print preparation, and final printed output.
Context
The document was prepared as part of a broader institutional effort to define the direction of the digital memory initiatives of Astan Quds Razavi, this time with a focus on the Virtual Museum.
The IT-related content inside the document had a structured three-part logic:
Previously completed efforts
Documentation of what had already been done in earlier periods.Current in-progress initiatives
Description of ideas and implementations that teams were already developing at the time.New future-oriented concepts
A forward-looking section in which new proposals and model ideas were introduced.
My contribution was mainly in this third layer: the future-oriented IT concepts.
My Role
1) IT Strategy Contribution
I contributed to the Virtual Museum IT section by helping present new concepts for how museum content could be digitized, represented, and experienced in richer ways.
A key part of that contribution included:
- proposing and presenting 3D-oriented ideas
- introducing the use of Unity as a possible platform for interactive / three-dimensional presentation
- presenting sample prototypes / demonstration examples
- helping position these ideas as part of a larger digital roadmap
This section was not authored by me alone.
Other contributors also proposed additional approaches. For example:
- one contributor proposed multi-angle photography workflows
- multiple ideas were accompanied by sample outputs / example demonstrations
My role was therefore to contribute to the technical future-vision layer, especially around more advanced digital representation and interaction concepts.
2) Editorial & Document Production
In addition to the IT contribution, I handled the complete production workflow of the final publication.
This included:
- full typing / text preparation
- complete page layout
- cover design
- spine and print composition
- preparation of the final print-ready files
- managing the document through the final print stage
In other words, I was responsible not only for a specialized content contribution, but also for converting the entire work into a professionally structured and printable institutional publication.

Why This Project Matters
This project is important in my portfolio because it demonstrates a combination of capabilities that rarely appear together in a single assignment:
- participation in an institutional strategic document
- contribution to the technology vision
- ability to transform scattered content into a structured publication
- full ownership of layout, cover, print preparation, and final output
- experience working in a heritage / museum / cultural digitization context
It shows that I was not only able to design or type content, but also able to contribute to how a cultural institution could think about its future digital museum experience.
